Tara Shephard has worked in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) field since 2018 and currently oversees all housing supervision. Tara obtained her GED in 2018 with the specific goal of working in the SUD field. She also received her STNA through vocational school in 2003. Tara joined Cardinal Treatment Center (CTC) in February 2024 and has since contributed to rebuilding the housing structure for CTC.

Tara has been instrumental in developing a strong Recovery Support Team and is proud of her daily work assisting those suffering from SUD in finding a better path in their treatment goals and life overall. She specializes in bringing person-centered care to all aspects of Cardinal’s services and actively engages in daily problem-solving to assist those they serve.

Having experienced a history of generational addiction within her family, Tara brings a deep understanding of the impact of SUD. She is motivated daily to help others so that their families may not have to endure similar hardships related to addiction.
