Misty Sorrell has been a dedicated professional in the Behavioral Health Field since 2013. She obtained her Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2020 and has held management clinical roles since 2017. Misty has a documented history of successfully addressing compliance issues for numerous companies across Ohio, Florida, and New Jersey.

Her areas of expertise include providing mental health crisis intervention, AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) counseling, and general Mental Health Counseling. In addition to her clinical skills, Misty manages daily administrative tasks and possesses extensive knowledge of CARF accreditation, as well as state and federal regulations, with a specialization in Quality Assurance. Throughout her career, Misty has served in various critical roles, including Case Manager, Counselor, Intake Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director, Executive Director, and currently as the Director of Operations.

Misty also serves as the Person Served/Client Advocate, a vital role in which she ensures that the voices of clients are heard and that they feel safe and supported. Her personal experience of being in recovery since January 28, 2006, allows her to connect with and inspire those they serve. Misty strives to use her own journey as an example to demonstrate that recovery is possible for everyone.
